I am a postdoctoral researcher at the Center for Innovation to Implementation within the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs and at the Stanford-Surgery Policy Improvement Research and Education (S-SPIRE) Center within the Department of Surgery, Stanford School of Medicine.

I received my Ph.D. in Epidemiology with a minor in Statistics from the Department of Population Health Sciences at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

My research aims to provide new ways of answering questions about inequities in health care including: what inequities exist? why do inequities exist? and how can we eliminate inequities? I am especially interested in improving the fairness of algorithms used by health care providers for screening, diagnosis, and treatment.
